I dreamed that I was attending an event at a Buddhist center. During the lunchtime offering, the meal was served buffet-style, and everyone took as much food as they wanted. I remembered that my friend Connie was waiting for me at home to eat together, so I took extra food to bring back and share with her.
After my first round of picking food, I noticed that my lunchbox wasn’t full. Since I planned to share with Connie, I went back for another round. Someone told me that the food was about to be put away and urged me to hurry. I really liked lotus root, so I took a lot of it in the end.
After lunch, it was time for class. I was assigned to the "Yuezhong One" training group, but I accidentally entered the "Yuezhong Two" training instead.
The training was held in a venue that resembled an international conference hall, with tiered seating and a stage at the front. They were playing a film about the teacher’s life. By the time I realized I was in the wrong classroom, it was too late to leave, so I had no choice but to stay and watch the film with the "Yuezhong Two" group.
During the intermission, I stepped out, and only then did they realize I had ended up in the wrong class. I quickly returned to the "Yuezhong One" session, where everyone was practicing the Cobra Pose in pairs. One person would perform the pose while their partner helped press down their feet.
When they saw me, they asked, "Hey, where did you go just now?" I explained that I had been stuck in the "Yuezhong Two" training, but since it was intermission, I came back.
They quickly found a senior brother to be my partner. As I practiced the Cobra Pose, he helped hold down my feet. However, I wasn’t doing it well, so I told him it was because I was wearing a waist shaper.
For some reason, I then started talking about the benefits of wearing a waist shaper—how it helped shape my figure and prevented lower back pain. A few of the senior brothers commented that it sounded like a good idea. I replied, "Yes, I’ve been wearing one for many years."
Next, the Dharma teacher came in to give a lecture. I don’t remember exactly what he talked about, but at some point, he asked if anyone knew a related story. I asked, "Would the story of Fo Yin and Su Dongpo count?" The teacher asked, "Which story are you referring to?" I replied, "The one about the Buddha and the cow dung." The teacher smiled and said, "Yes, that one counts." (In reality, this actually happened to me during a Buddhist studies class.)
In this group, it seemed that I was privately affiliated with a particular team. After class, some fellow members approached me, saying that we could incorporate the "Fo Yin and Su Dongpo" story into our marketing plan.
At that moment, I suddenly saw many layered, irregularly shaped, concentric colorful patterns before my eyes. Each ring had a different dominant color. I was fascinated and thought, "Oh? This works too? How should we proceed with it?"
