In my dream, it seemed like I was a member of a branch system project team for a mainland bank. When the system went online, we took turns sleeping at the bank to monitor its status.
I was originally asleep when I heard the branch printer start continuously printing. I got up and saw red text indicating incoming transactions. Everyone gradually woke up and began preparing to work.
I needed to go to the branch. When I saw the elevator, I thought to take it up. When it arrived, I saw an empty spot and squeezed in. It was only after entering that I realized this elevator didn't go to the floor I needed. Looking around, I didn't recognize anyone and felt a bit embarrassed.
This elevator was unique; instead of floor numbers, it displayed company names. No wonder I couldn't find my company's name after searching for a while. Eventually, I followed everyone upstairs and then back down.
Upon arriving at the branch, everyone was already very busy with various transactions pouring in.
It seemed like I was an IT person, so I helped monitor the reports. Every time a transaction came in, the branch report would start printing. I thought to myself: "We've only been open for less than an hour, why are the reports printing continuously?"
Upon closer inspection, I realized that every new transaction triggered a full printout of the branch report. I asked the branch staff, "Do we need to print the entire report every time?" I believed the report should just serve as a reminder, so when a new transaction came in, only that transaction information should be printed, rather than reprinting the entire branch report.
I explained my reasoning to everyone, emphasizing that constant reprinting was not environmentally friendly.
As the branch reports continued to print non-stop, it got to the point where I had to go outside onto the sidewalk to organize the reports.
In my dream, it seemed like I was responsible for analyzing requirements and modifying the program. Fortunately, everyone also valued environmental protection and agreed that the branch reports didn't need to print incessantly. On one hand, dot matrix printers were very noisy, and on the other hand, it was wasteful and environmentally unfriendly.

來到分行，大家都已經很忙碌了，各種交易一直進來。
好像我是電腦資訊人員，就幫忙看著報表。一有交易進來，分行報表就開始印。我心想：不是才剛營業不到一小時，怎麼報表就一直不停地印？
我仔細看，發現只要有一個新交易進來，分行報表就整份地印。我問分行人員：「我們需要整份列印嗎？」我認為這報表應該只是一個提醒， 所以有新交易進來時，只需要列印該筆交易資訊，而不是不斷重印整份分行報表。
我同時解釋理由給大家聽，我認為不斷重覆列印很不環保。
