I dreamed that I was on a bus with my Russian friend, Elena. We were discussing the different bus routes, which seemed to be numbers 1, 2, and 3. Bus number 1 passes by the presidential palace. Elena mentioned that she had just moved and now takes bus number 1 to work every day. She was still figuring out the route and getting used to the bus system.
Then we arrived at the office. I remembered I had two suits, and I was wearing a blue one as I entered. For some reason, I needed to change into the other suit.
Elena came over and asked, "Weren't you going to change your clothes?" "Yes, I was going to change suits," I replied. It was then that I realized I hadn't actually changed yet, even though I thought I had.
Just as I was feeling confused, Elena brought me the suit I liked.
I was standing in the corner, about to change, when I noticed a male colleague watching me.
I remembered that this colleague liked me, and it seemed we had a special relationship. I didn't mind changing in front of him. After changing, I returned to my desk to start working and organizing my things.
Later, for some reason, I went to another female colleague's desk to hand something over to her.
She explained that she loved her current desk because there was an old-fashioned faucet nearby, and she really liked the design of it.
I thought to myself, "It's a good thing her office is in this old building; that's why there's an old-fashioned faucet. If she were in the new building, the layout would be different, and she wouldn't like it as much."
Ending 1: A Surprise Gift
After finishing my work, I received a message from Elena asking me to meet her in the break room. When I arrived, she handed me a small gift box. Inside was a beautiful brooch with a note: "For all the changes we go through, may we always shine bright." I felt a warm sense of appreciation and gratitude, realizing that amidst all the transitions, the support of friends makes the journey worthwhile.
Ending 2: A Sudden Realization
As I was about to leave my desk, I noticed a folder with my name on it. Inside were documents detailing a new project that required me to move to the new building. My heart sank a bit, knowing I would miss the old-fashioned faucet and the comfort of the familiar office. But then, I saw a note from my boss encouraging me to embrace the change and promising exciting opportunities ahead. I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of apprehension and excitement.
Ending 3: A Hidden Message
After handing over the documents to my female colleague, I noticed something strange about the old-fashioned faucet. There was a small inscription hidden behind it. Curious, I deciphered the message: "Embrace the past, but always move forward." It felt like a revelation, guiding me to appreciate where I came from while being open to new experiences. I shared this discovery with my colleague, and we both felt inspired to bring a bit of that old charm into the new building.
Ending 4: A Shared Laugh
When I returned to my desk, my male colleague approached me, holding a cup of coffee. "I saw you were in a hurry to change earlier," he said with a grin. We both laughed about the awkward moment, and it eased any tension. He then suggested we organize a small office gathering to lighten the mood. The idea caught on, and soon everyone was chatting and laughing, turning the day into a celebration of camaraderie.
Ending 5: A Moment of Reflection
After completing my tasks, I decided to take a walk around the old building one last time. Each corner held memories of the time spent there, from late-night work sessions to shared lunches with colleagues. As I stood by the old-fashioned faucet, I made a silent promise to carry forward the lessons and friendships I had made. With a sense of closure and readiness for the future, I left the building, feeling both nostalgic and hopeful.
