I dreamed that the plant in my bedroom had grown taller and sprouted new branches. My high school classmate Jean came over and asked me what to do with it. I said we should get another pot and separate the branches into a new pot.
Then the scene shifted to a classroom. I told my classmates that it was lunchtime, and we needed to hurry up and clean the classroom, but everyone was chatting and no one started working.
I quickly grabbed a broom and began sweeping. I noticed the floor was covered in a thick layer of dust and lots of pine needles. I thought to myself, "Were the people before just slacking off? How could there be so much dust and no one cleaned it?"
I swept vigorously and told my classmates, "Hurry up and help sweep!" They said they didn’t know where the cleaning tools were.
I looked back at the corner of the classroom and saw there were plenty of brooms there. I said, "There are lots of brooms here! You can grab one and start sweeping!" I reminded them that lunchtime cleaning wasn’t meant to be a deep clean, but, looking at the floor, I said, "No one cleans regularly—that’s why there’s so much dust!"
At that point, someone said, "Yeah! Why is there so much dust?" I thought to myself, "That just shows they’ve been careless with their tasks."
Then I saw Gigi pick up a cloth and start wiping the windows. I was busy sweeping and even grabbed a small broom to clean the dust on the windowsill. Watching Gigi clean the windows, I thought, "With such a short cleaning time, we should focus on the floors first. Someone should be mopping right after me to get the floor clean."
While I kept sweeping, I noticed Diana, a senior sister, was also sweeping the floor.
As I swept, I found myself back near my plant. Jean asked again what to do with it, and I explained that it needed repotting. The side branches had grown big and should be moved to another pot to help it thrive.
