Human Scheming Nature 勾心鬥角的人性

Dreaming, Mom showed concern about how my brother and I were doing in our businesses.

I mentioned that my storefront was struggling and I was contemplating shutting it down. On the other hand, my brother said he had just rented a uniquely designed storefront at a corner near the beach, intending to open a furniture store, and he invited Mom and me to come take a look.

It was an elegantly designed exterior with exquisite interior decor, but the only downside was its small size. It was almost filled up with just a bed, let alone the bedside table and decorations he wanted to add.

Mom blamed him for not planning things thoroughly in advance, while my brother complained that he had just come out of the military, where there was constant scheming and manipulation, which hindered his success.

I said, "Well, honestly, there's scheming everywhere. Do you think private enterprises are free from it? It's simply human nature, it's the same everywhere!"

I used a baby as an example, saying, "Look at a baby, so innocent, seemingly untainted. But even babies know to act cute. When it's time to cry, they pretend to cry a little to get what they want!"

I comforted my brother, saying, "It's a natural human instinct, this scheming, to acquire what one desires. So, don't blame yourself; it's the same in every profession. This is just human society!"

夢見媽媽關心我和弟弟生意做得怎麼樣。

我說我的門市開不下去了，打算要收攤。弟弟則說他剛在往海邊路上的轉角處，租了一個造型特別的店面，打算要開一間家具店，並邀請我和媽媽一起過去看看。

這是一間外部典雅、內部裝潢精緻的店面。唯一的缺點是實在太小了。放一張床就快滿了，更何況他還想放床頭桌與飾品。

媽媽責怪他做事情不事前做好完整規劃，弟弟則埋怨說他才剛從部隊退伍下來，軍中到處都是勾心鬥角，害他不成功。

我說「唉！老實講，哪裡都是勾心鬥角。你以為私人企業就不會勾心鬥角了嗎？人性就是人性，走到哪裡都一樣啊！」

我以小嬰孩為例「你看小寶貝，那麼純真，應該是沒有汙染。但嬰兒也知道要裝可愛。該哭的時候，就要假裝哭一下，才能夠得到他要的東西啊！」

我安慰弟弟說「這是人類天生的機能，就是勾心鬥角，來獲取想要的東西。所以我說你也不要怨了，各行各業都一樣。這就是人類的社會啊！」
