Seating Arrangements at Work 公司座位的安排

I dreamed that I was working at the same company as a group of high school classmates. It seemed like our first day, and the company was arranging seats for us.

To my left was Sister Rita, and to my right was Miss Jian. Another receptionist and Miss Jian arrived simultaneously. There were extra orientation booklets, and Rita said I could distribute them to the newbies.

Our seating arrangement was like an auditorium. I noticed they had moved my seat to the back, sandwiched between a bunch of people, which made it inconvenient for me to come and go.

Half-jokingly, I said, "This isn't fair—going to the restroom is going to be so inconvenient!" I looked at Miss Jian, who was wearing a cream-colored suit and was also squeezed in the middle; she seemed resigned.

Suddenly, high school classmate Jessica popped up, shouting, "I'm squeezed in the middle too!" I felt much better. I thought I was the only one being treated unfairly, but it turned out all three of us were assigned seats squeezed in the middle!

Because of the tiered seating in the auditorium style, I looked down below and saw more high school classmates like Mingli, Yifang, all seated in the middle as well.

I saw a few of them collectively move their tables down a notch to expand their seating space. From my angle, I could see each of their legs, and it made me chuckle.

Later, it seemed we were going to the restaurant for a meal, and I was waiting outside. At this point, some peculiar small animals appeared, like fluffy squirrels or flying squirrels, almost like toys but alive. There were also fluffy elephants that seemed toy-like but animated. They were all playing with me.

We continued waiting there. People arrived gradually, and many small dogs also came, as if we were all going to participate in an event together.

At this moment, I saw a younger version of my daughter holding a fluffy toy. I hugged her tightly and asked, "Are you having fun?" She said she missed me and hugged me back. Then I held her hand, and we walked together, ascending shallow steps to join the event.

The atmosphere at the event was joyful. Actually, earlier at the company, I had felt a bit disheartened because I felt my qualifications were quite extensive, but I was given a very junior position. However, upon seeing Miss Jian, who appeared to be a professional too, I thought, "Here, we're all newcomers." So, I let go of my initial unhappiness and joined in the cheerful event with my high school classmates.

夢見我和一群高中同學，在同一家公司上班。好像是新人報到，公司在幫我們安排座位。

我的座位左邊是 Rita 師姐，右邊是一位簡小姐。還有一位總機小姐和簡小姐同時報到。公司有多出來的報到手冊，Rita 師姐說我可以直接給這些新人。

我們的座位編排像是大會堂。我發現他們把我的座位換到後方，而且夾在一堆人的中間，讓我出入很不方便。

我故意用一種玩笑口吻說：「不公平～我這樣上廁所很不方便啦！」我看著簡小姐，她穿著乳黃色的套裝，她的座位也是被夾在中間，她看來也有些無奈。

高中同學 Jessica 突然冒出頭來，她喊著：「我也是被夾在中間。」我感覺好多了。我以為只有我遭到不公平待遇，原來我們三個人都是分配到夾在中間的座位啊！

因為是大會堂階梯式的座位格局，我往前下方看，下面都是我的高中同學，像 Mingli、Yifang，他們也是分配到夾在中間的座位。

我看到她們幾人還集體把桌子往下移動了一格，讓她們座位的空間變大。但從我的角度往下看，我就可以看到她們每個人的腿。換我在竊笑。

後來好像我們要去餐廳吃飯，我在餐廳外面等。此時出現一些奇奇怪怪的小動物，像是絨毛的大松鼠還是飛鼠，看起來像是玩具，但是牠們會動。還有像是玩具的絨毛大象，反正就是很多會動的玩具，牠們都在跟我玩。

我們繼續在那裡等。陸陸續續人來了，還有很多小狗也都來了，好像我們要一起去參加活動。

這時候我看到幼兒版的女兒，她手上也拿著一個絨毛玩具。我緊緊地抱著她，我問她：「玩得還好嗎？」她說她很想念我，也回抱了我一下。然後我就牽著她的手，我們就這樣子走啊走，一路走上淺的階梯，要去參加活動。

活動氣氛很歡樂。其實之前在公司的時候，我有一點沮喪。因為我覺得我的資歷相當豐富，但公司給我一個很資淺的職位。但後來看到簡小姐，她看起來也是專業人員，我就想：「在這裡，大家都是新人。」反正要一起當同事，加上又看到高中同學，就放下原本不愉快的執念，一起參加這歡樂的活動。
