The Dilemma of Strategy and Morality 謀略與道德的兩難抉擇

I had a dream where it seemed like I was living in ancient times, during a period of many wars. I was a strategist, and my lord was a feudal lord. He wanted to attack another kingdom, and I told him I had a plan. So, I went over to the enemy's side.

I disguised myself as a beggar and knocked on their city gates, asking for food. After some thought, they gave me some.

I told them I had other friends who were also hungry and asked if they could spare some food for them too. They agreed, and I returned with 1,000 people, all knocking on the gate and saying we needed food. The ruler of that country hesitated at first, but seeing so many people starving, he ordered his servants to feed us all.

Later, I returned to my own country and told my lord, "You can attack them now because their food supply is running low."

Honestly, I felt a bit bad, as I had taken advantage of the other side’s kindness and planned to attack them when they were weakened. But perhaps that's just the nature of war—deception and the harsh reality of survival of the fittest.

Then the scene shifted, and I saw the opposing ruler sending people to defend the mountains behind their kingdom. I shouted at them, "No matter how much you defend, it’s useless!" Their general replied, "How is it useless?"

And I said, "This is Taiwan!" Then I woke up, not knowing what this dream meant.

夢見我好像在古代，有很多戰爭。我是一個謀士，我的主公是諸侯。主公想要攻打另外一國，我跟他說我有辦法，然後我就跑去對方那邊。

我裝成一名乞丐，去敲城門，請他們給我東西吃。他們想一想，就把食物送出來給我。

我跟他們說我還有其他朋友也餓著，請他們施捨食物給我的朋友。他們說好，結果我帶了 1000 人去敲城門，說我們都需要東西吃。這國的主公本來有點猶豫，可是看到那麼多人都沒得吃，就請他的僕人來餵我們。

後來我回到我原來的國家。我跟我的主公說：「你現在可以去攻打他們了，因為他們的糧食已經不多了。」

其實我覺得我的心地有點壞，因為我利用對方的善心，趁他虛弱的時候去攻打他。不過好像這就是戰爭，兵不厭詐，弱肉強食的殘酷現實。

場景切換到我看到對手主公派人去防守後面的山頭。我跟他們喊話：「你再怎麼防守已經沒有用了！」對方將軍回：「怎麼會沒有用？」

然後我跟他說：「這就是台灣！」我就醒了，不知道這是什麼意思。
