Recently, I've been binge-watching Netflix's "Younger." In a dream, I found myself as the main character, Liza, having a lively gathering at a bar with several young women and the lesbian artist Maggie from the series.
At that moment, a young guy in a tweed hat walked in, seemingly invited by Maggie to join us. He strolled in with his hands casually in his pockets, looking cool. He joined our group of girls, and we chatted away, much like in the show's storyline.
Then it seemed like we were about to play a "truth-telling" game where everyone takes turns sharing a personal truth. When it was my turn, in the midst of the dream, I suddenly heard a "bang" sound in the room, like someone knocking on wood, and my dream was interrupted, waking me up.
Returning to the dream, like Liza in the show, I was concealing my true age to secure a job and blending in with younger people. Then, an old friend of mine, probably jealous of my situation, exposed my real age to my young friend Lauren. Lauren looked extremely surprised. Watching this unfold, I felt my friend was despicable, "Why did you have to reveal my age?"
Next, the scene shifted to an outdoor garden, perhaps for an unveiling ceremony. There were rows of chairs on the grass, and guests were seated. The series' boss, Charles, was giving an opening speech at the front.
There was a large outdoor decoration, and after the speech, they were about to unveil it, preparing to pull down the curtain. It seemed to be a large statue. Before I could see clearly what it was, I woke up.
