This dream seems related to the previous one.
I dreamed that I rescued Ko Wen-je and his group. Then, while walking, I did a fortune reading, and the result wasn’t very favorable. So, I told them, "You are free now. I’ve saved you, and you don’t owe me anything. There’s no need for any guarantees." I added, "Once you leave the team, you can get married."
I felt like I was just an observer in their situation, not personally involved. Then I turned to the dancers preparing for the European performance and said, "Hurry home and pack your bags. Meet here at 1 o'clock to leave."
After saying that, I saw a peacock suddenly spread its tail, displaying vibrant, beautiful colors. I thought, "Huh? What does this mean?" As I got closer, I saw there was water in a container.
Then, the dancers disappeared. The scene shifted, and I saw my friend Sharon in the kitchen, stir-frying shrimp. But as she cooked, the shrimp turned into chicken.
Later, the dancers reappeared. During the meeting, they said they were too old and couldn’t dance anymore, so they politely declined the opportunity. One by one, many of them dropped out of the performance.
I couldn’t help but think: I thought this was going to be a fun and exciting trip to compete in a dance performance abroad. Why is no one willing to participate?
I then remembered, during the meeting, when I mentioned the performance abroad, I thought about how, when my daughter was very young, she flew alone to Taiwan. I felt so proud of her. I thought about how capable and independent she was from a young age, and how she’d grow up to be someone strong and successful.
4. Sharon
1. A Reaffirming Ending: A New Team Emerges
As the dancers continue to decline the opportunity, you feel a growing sense of disappointment. But then, just before giving up, new dancers arrive—unexpectedly younger and full of enthusiasm. They share your excitement for the European trip and are eager to join the performance. The meeting turns into an impromptu rehearsal, where everyone’s energy is revitalized. You suddenly realize that though your original group couldn’t make it, new people and opportunities arise when least expected. The dream ends with you boarding the plane with this new team, ready to face the adventure ahead with renewed hope.
2. A Symbolic Ending: Transformation of the Peacock
After seeing the peacock spread its vibrant feathers, it suddenly transforms into a guiding spirit. It leads you through a magical doorway that takes you directly to Europe, skipping the need for preparation. When you arrive, you find yourself in an ancient European city, surrounded by performers and artists. The dancers who had declined the invitation are there, waiting for you, fully prepared and energized. You feel a wave of relief and joy, realizing that this performance was meant to be, despite the obstacles. The dream ends with everyone dancing together under the peacock’s brilliant wings, symbolizing unity and creative freedom.
3. An Introspective Ending: Embracing Solitude
As the dancers drop out one by one, you start feeling a quiet acceptance instead of disappointment. You realize that this journey isn’t about the performance or the company of others—it’s about self-discovery. You decide to go to Europe alone, finding peace in the solitude. The scene shifts to you walking through a snowy European landscape, feeling liberated. The peacock reappears, walking beside you as a companion, a symbol of your inner strength and beauty. The dream ends with you standing atop a hill, gazing at the horizon, embracing the freedom and confidence that comes with traveling on your own path.
4. A Playful Ending: An Unexpected Shift
After the dancers express that they’re too old for the performance, you laugh and suggest turning the event into a comedy show instead of a dance performance. Everyone starts coming up with funny skits, and soon the meeting becomes a brainstorming session filled with jokes and laughter. The stress of preparation disappears, and the dancers, reinvigorated by the humor, agree to join the trip. The dream ends with the group rehearsing a hilarious, light-hearted performance, filled with joy and creativity. You feel a deep sense of connection with them, and the anxiety around the trip fades away into excitement.
5. A Family-Oriented Ending: Reuniting with Your Daughter
As you ponder why no one wants to participate in the performance, your daughter suddenly appears in the dream. She has grown into a confident, accomplished adult, and she expresses interest in joining you on the trip. Her presence fills you with pride and relief, and the two of you prepare for the European adventure together. The other dancers, inspired by your daughter’s energy, slowly change their minds and decide to join as well. The dream ends with a beautiful mother-daughter moment, the two of you leading the group into the airport, excited for what lies ahead.
Each ending brings out different feelings and themes, from empowerment and independence to humor, creativity, and familial connection.
This dream carries several layered themes, blending feelings of responsibility, independence, letting go, and shifting relationships. Below is an interpretation of the different aspects:
1. Rescuing Ko Wen-je’s Group
Rescuing Ko Wen-je and his group in the dream could symbolize your role as a guide or protector, possibly reflecting how you feel responsible for helping others. The fortune-telling part might reflect uncertainty or doubts about the outcome of your assistance, but your statement—"You don’t owe me anything"—shows a willingness to let go and release any expectations. This could indicate that you’re coming to terms with helping others while maintaining emotional boundaries and detachment from their personal outcomes.
2. The Dancers and the European Performance
The dancers represent a recurring theme of creative expression, travel, and ambition. Telling them to pack for a performance in Europe reflects your desire for adventure, self-expression, and perhaps a yearning for excitement in life. However, the fact that many dancers are "too old" or unwilling to join could indicate fears of missed opportunities or concerns that your plans and dreams may not align with those around you. You may feel isolated or unsupported in your pursuits, leading to frustration or questioning why others don’t share your enthusiasm for certain goals.
3. The Peacock and the Water
The appearance of the peacock, a symbol of beauty, pride, and transformation, could represent a moment of self-reflection or realization. The peacock spreading its vibrant feathers suggests that something significant is being revealed to you, either about your own self-worth or about an opportunity that seems both appealing and mysterious. The container of water may symbolize emotional depth or clarity. Water often represents emotions, so this part of the dream could indicate that you are beginning to see something deeper within yourself, perhaps connected to your emotions or intuition.
4. The Kitchen Scene with Sharon
Seeing your friend Sharon cooking shrimp, which then turns into chicken, suggests a sense of unpredictability or transformation in daily life. The kitchen is often a place of nourishment and creativity, and Sharon’s presence could symbolize support or familiarity. The shift from shrimp to chicken might point to an unexpected change in your personal relationships or plans. It could also reflect your adaptability, the ability to adjust to changing circumstances, or the realization that things don’t always turn out as expected.
5. Reflection on Your Daughter’s Independence
The memory of your daughter flying alone as a child speaks to your pride in her independence and resilience. This memory could reflect your feelings about your own independence or that of others around you. It highlights a theme of pride and success, especially in overcoming challenges early in life. It also suggests that you value growth, independence, and strength, both in yourself and others.
6. Underlying Feelings of Disappointment
The recurring motif of people backing out of the performance, paired with the thought of an exciting opportunity that others don’t want to take, could reflect feelings of disappointment or isolation. You may be grappling with the idea that your vision or expectations aren’t always met by those around you, leaving you to question your own goals or the support system in your life.
Overall Interpretation:
This dream may be addressing your current thoughts and emotions about personal growth, responsibility, and the changing dynamics in your relationships. You might be reflecting on the balance between supporting others and focusing on your own aspirations. The dream also touches on feelings of independence, pride, and how your expectations for the future might clash with the realities around you.
The key message might be about recognizing and embracing change, letting go of control over others’ choices, and finding your own path, even when those around you aren’t on the same journey. It also invites you to reflect on your creativity and emotional strength while seeking moments of beauty and joy amidst challenges.
