Victory Without Rules 無規則的勝利

I dreamed that I was with my university classmates Xiao Yu, Xiao Tan, Xiao Wang, and a stranger, gathered under a tree playing poker.

Xiao Yu dealt the cards, giving each of us eight cards. Just as he finished dealing, the stranger claimed to have a straight sequence from 1 to 8 and declared himself the winner.

The rest of us exclaimed in surprise. I thought to myself, "Hey, didn't we shuffle the cards? How did he manage to get a straight sequence and win?" We were relieved we hadn't bet any money, or we would have lost right at the start.

Xiao Yu collected the cards to deal again. Xiao Tan came over to talk to Xiao Yu, so I took half of the cards from Xiao Yu's hand, intending to shuffle them a few more times to prevent someone from getting a straight sequence again. Our cards were white. While they were distracted, I helped shuffle the cards.

As Xiao Yu prepared to deal again, I reminded him to take turns dealing cards instead of dealing all eight at once.

When it came to my turn to receive cards, I was puzzled. Why were my cards blank? Xiao Yu noticed he also had blank cards, suggesting there might have been some mix-up with blank cards.

I asked Xiao Yu what to do, and he immediately gave me an extra card. When I picked it up, I was surprised to find it was a new poem about "a taxi driver losing a tooth." Xiao Tan burst into laughter. I read the poem aloud to everyone, thinking, "This poem is actually quite well-written!"

I started wondering, "Why did I get a poem about a toothless taxi driver? How do I even play with this since it has no numbers or pictures?" Xiao Yu was also pondering how to continue the game. I heard everyone laughing heartily.

Later in the dream, the scene changed to us classmates playing mahjong in the school auditorium. I noticed my cousin Vincent's photo on one of the tiles. I wondered, "Why is his picture here?" But in the dream, I thought his photo actually looked pretty good!

夢見我跟大學同學小余、小覃、小王和一個陌生人，聚在樹下玩撲克牌。

小余發牌，一人八張牌。才發完，那個陌生人就說他拿到 1 到 8 連號牌，贏了。

其他人 "蛤" 了一聲叫出來。我心想「欸，不是洗過牌了嗎？怎麼他還可以拿到順號，就贏了？」我們都慶幸還好沒賭錢，不然一開始第一場就輸錢了。

小余把牌收回來，準備發第二次牌。小覃過來和小余講話，我把小余手上一半的牌拿過來，想說幫他多洗幾次牌，免得像剛剛那樣，有人一下子拿了連號牌。我們的牌是白色的。反正趁他們講話時，我就幫忙洗牌。

小余準備發牌，我提醒他要輪著發牌，不要一次發八張牌。

發牌到我這裡。欸？為什麼我的牌卡是空白的？小余發現他也拿到空白牌卡，他說有可能是混到空白卡了。

我問小余怎麼辦，他直接補一張牌卡給我。我拿起來，欸 ？怎麼上面是一首關於「計程車司機掉牙」的新詩。坐在對面的小覃哈哈在笑。我把這新詩唸給大家聽，心想「這首新詩寫得還不錯呢！」

我開始想「為什麼我會拿到掉牙的新詩卡？那我要怎麼玩呢？它又沒有數字或圖案。」小余也在思考這遊戲要怎麼繼續。我聽見大家呵呵大笑。

後來場景變成我們幾個同學，在學校的大禮堂裡玩紙麻將。我看到表弟 Vincent 的大頭照在牌卡上。我納悶「為什麼他的照片會在這裡？」不過夢裡我覺得他這張照片照得還不錯呢！
