From the first day of marriage, man and woman often don't know how to interact with each other. They find themselves confined under the same roof, navigating work, daily expenses, and household management without a clue.
A high level of education doesn't necessarily equate to high wisdom. Out of politeness, after work, each person retreats to their own space, almost like strangers. They are not good at expressing themselves and fail to create a warm atmosphere.
In the bedroom, both are waiting. The greatest suffering is having unspoken grievances. A dream marriage is not just about being deeply in love, exchanging sweet banter, passionate intimacy, or lovemaking.
As the days of waiting pass quietly, patience wears thin. On Lillian's face, there is no trace of newlywed bliss—only melancholy and sadness. Well-wishes from others feel like a burden to her. The reality of marriage shatters her dreams, leaving her full of doubts. At school, she has earned the nickname "Iron Lady" due to her stoic demeanor, which she pretends not to hear.
