Dreaming of going to Hualien with my good friend Paula to visit our junior, Tony. We went to his restaurant to understand the impact of the earthquake on him.
Tony's restaurant has a karaoke setup. After we finished our meal, we decided to sing a few songs. Paula was excited to choose songs, while I preferred to listen rather than sing.
Tony teased me, saying he wanted to hear me sing, but I ignored him. After a while, Tony repeated, "I want to hear you sing." Still ignoring him, he persisted a few times until I couldn't resist anymore and reluctantly sang along with the song that was playing. Although not familiar, I managed to follow along.
After this round of singing, the system scored our performance. Tony took the opportunity to talk to everyone about the reconstruction plan for Hualien after the disaster. He hoped we could visit often and even bring friends along, which would be even better.
After the song selection system finished scoring, it provided suggestions for improvement, but we had to click into each song to see them. After checking a few, I found the system's design to be inadequate and decided to skip it.
The scene then shifts to me accompanying Tony and his son as we browse through RH furniture store. He wanted to pick a chair for his son's room. As we browsed, I asked about their preferences such as chair size, style, and color. I introduced the design highlights of various chairs like a connoisseur, discussing the available styles and options. I also explained the comfort of classic designs and the enveloping feeling of larger chairs, which are very comfortable.
Then I began introducing some desk decoration accessories, explaining the details of product design and material differences. Apart from offering more placement suggestions, I also recommended similar products from other brands.
I mentioned that I'm no longer a dealer. While I used to earn a profit margin before, now there's nothing to gain, so I'm just guiding them and providing some professional advice.
Later, we met his daughter, and I continued guiding them in choosing furniture and accessories. Passing through the dining room furniture exhibition area, there were many accessories. A floor clock caught my eye with its hand-painted design, very elegant. It reminded me of similar clocks I had sold before.
Then we came to the bedroom furniture exhibition area, where there were many bed sets to consider. I explained the key features of each collection and shared some clever bedroom layout suggestions.
